In the 1970’s John DeMaria (owner) answered the requests from his Italian customers and started butchering on the farm. This was the birth of what is now Macelleria DeMaria. On the farm butchers were common in those days but now this is rare. Now a
working USDA processing facility providing the freshest quality products. This is what makes Hemlock Hill Farm so unique. We grow, process and sell our meat on the farm. You will not find meat this fresh anywhere in the lower Hudson Valley.
